Woodworkers Fighting Cancer is an annual fundraising event for woodworkers to raise money for cancer research and programs.
Below are some of the past builds I've taken part in. The projects are usually geared towards children, with kids furniture being a theme the last few years.
2016 WWFC Build
This year's build was a castle themed bookcase. This project was built with plywood from the home center. There are window and door cutouts, crenellations (battlements) on top, and a hinged front door.
2015 WWFC Build
The 2016 WWFC build was a kid's table and chairs set. This project was built with plywood from the home center. The tabletop lifts off to expose lots of storage area for kid's toys or craft supplies. The set is completely collapsible, all the chair parts and table legs can fit inside the tabletop.
2014 WWfc Build
The 2015 WWFC build was a toy chest. This project was built with poplar from the home center. It has soft close hinges on the lid, a white board panel on the front and back for drawing on, and side cubbies for books.
